This book changed my
life. All my questions and the doubts I had about God/Higher Power and my
place in this universe were answered here. It is simple to understand and
mind-blowing. Your Soul will soar!. Every day I am happier and more at
peace with myself and the world. If I were on a desert island, I would be
content just to have these books (or the audio tapes) with me.
A Course in Miracles is
a complete self-study spiritual thought system. As a three-volume
curriculum consisting of a Text, Workbook for Students, and
Manual for Teachers, it teaches that the way to universal love and
peace—or remembering God—is by undoing guilt through forgiving
others. I have changed my life and my
outlook on life by studying this. It has not been easy at times, but along
with Conversations with God, I have come to understand myself and
therefore the world much better. If you are looking to change your life,
this is the next step in our evolution as spiritual beings.
I had a hard time with not believing that this was a
real story, but the insights and the thought provoking nature of this book
and James Redfield's' others are worth the experience. A must read for
anyone searching.
I came across the "Power of Myth on PBS. They always
run it during pledge week, and I will watch it over and over and over
again. The wealth of information on humanity and ultimately how we are all
tied together is uplifting and immense. You could spend no better hours
doing anything, if you take the time for these videos and
books.
A light-hearted look at the Tao, yet tremendously
profound. Short, sweet, easy to read and understand. Treat yourself
to this pleasure. Don't forget to pick up "the Te of Piglet" while you're
at it.
Steven Covey's holistic, integrated, principle-centered approach for
solving personal and professional problems.

It adds much to see how
different translations give you different ways to think about
something most Christians have taken for granted or often just mouthed
and not thought about at all unless they needed some comfort.
